To Hell With Fear!
Fear is about the most cowardly emotion out there. It is an inhibiting emotion. When fear grabs us by the balls we really don't have much control over ourselves.
Emotions like anger allow us to take control by being aggressive. Sadness helps us get in touch with what we find painful. Fear simply allows us to avoid situations.
Sure, it's good to be a bit afraid of some things. I'd be kind of scared to whack a pitbull in the butt with a stick. That kind of fear saves my ass, and I value it. Fear which deters me from pursuing my passions is something I quite happily shed as a snake sheds it old and aged skin.
We need to get in touch with our fears and figure out if they are serving us well or not. Sometimes it's okay to be afraid of rejection and not be out playing the game. It's up to each of us to determine which priorities really matter to us. We don't have to get over our fears if we don't want to. We need to move in our own comfort zones and not what we think we should have to feel comfortable with. It's up to us to decide.
Fear of the darker things in life is about the stupidest thing to fear. Let us not insult the devil or ourselves by cowering the corner about supernatural stuff. We are not 'god-fearing Christians'. That's a hell of an expression if I have ever heard one. 'Our father who art in heaven', yet what kind of great father figure fills us with fear? These ideas don't work for me.
We don't do what we do out of fear. We do it from our passions. We do it from the bottom of our hearts. To do things out of fear is being out of control and reacting to a situation. Grasping our fears and examining them as though they are precious pearls is the best way of dealing with it. we must take our fears and turn them into cartoons. Turn our fears into silly Scooby Doo monsters and shake them off.
There is no sense getting scared silly about stuff that won't happen. Better to be afraid of real shit like wasting our money, ruining our favourite shirt, or getting cancer. Not all this baloney and bullshit some people are scared of.
The notion of Satan has instilled fear in the minds of individuals for ages. As Satanists we live in freedom of fear and get the joy of experiencing Satan as God. How free and pleasant our lives! We need not fear torment or eternal damnation! This is the real salvation, and one that Jesus Christ cannot provide!
Satanic imagery helps us find enlightenment. As we become desensitized to Satanic imagery, we become naturally less superstitious people. We know that we are already surrounded with pain and life is already hell. Why be afraid or ashamed of it? We are not weak for our pain, but are all the stronger for it.
Satan is our friend. We walk hand in hand with Satan. There is nothing to be afraid of.
